Your Child’s Health - The best all around reference for everything including illnesses, behavioral issues, potty training, sleeping, etc. To the point and authoritative. Love it.

The Happiest Baby on the Block - Do you have a fussy baby? Our first baby was fussy, and I think I ended up memorizing this book. Recommended to us by our pediatrician and all of our experienced parent friends… I will never forget it.

Einstein Never Used Flashcards - I read a review of this book in the Wall Street Journal. Basically says babies and toddlers should be playing instead of memorizing things. It explains the science of why.

Rasing Cain - Wow, it is hard to be a boy! This book is about the emotional wellness of boys with real life case studies from a Harvard Professor. Cry it out, bro! Seriously this book is heavy - I wouldn’t buy it as a gift - but if you have a boy, it is a MUST READ.
